Github integration

This article describes the Github integration and how to connect your Github account to the DCO.


  1. Sign up to https://github.com/

  2. Go to https://github.com/settings/organizations connect to your Github account

  3. Click “New organization”

  4. Choose the plan, fill the form and click “Next”

  5. Click “Settings”

  6. Scroll down and go to “Developer settings” → “GitHub Apps” subsection

  7. Click “New GitHub App”

  8. Fill the form

  9. Click ”Create GitHub App”

  10. Now save your “App ID” to use it as “application_id“ and “Owned by”(without an “@” symbol) to use as tenant of your integration.

  11. Then scroll down and click “Generate a private key”

  12. Once the key is generated and downloaded, use the file as “client_pem” for your integration

  13. Go to “Install App” section and click “Install”

  14. Click “Install” once more
