The ROPA-Controller is responsible for managing Records of Processing Activities (ROPAs). This role involves overseeing and organizing the documentation related to data processing activities.
ROPA-Processor
A ROPA-Processor comes into play when a customer acts as a processor for its own customers. This happens when a customer handles personal data for other clients or outsources processing activities. The ROPA-Processor is responsible for managing and organizing the Records of Processing Activities related to these external processing tasks.
TOM
TOM stands for Technical and Organizational Measures. It refers to the set of technical and organizational steps an organization takes to ensure the security and compliance of its data processing activities.
