Generate ROPA

In this section, you can easily review and edit the Records of Processing Activities (ROPA) that were automatically generated based on the initial audit. You also have the option to create new ROPA, and we provide convenient templates to help you organize them effectively.

How to Use Templates: Our templates assist you in creating new ROPAs in an organized manner, ensuring that your data security practices are well-structured. This approach provides a clear and comprehensive overview.

Key Components:

  • ROPA Departments: Think of these as categories that help you organize your records of processing activities. ROPAs are nested within these departments, and you can assign specific individuals to oversee them. For more complex structures, you can create subdepartments.

  • ROPAs in Notes Format: Inside each department, you'll find the various ROPAs, each with different sections to fill out:

    • Process Description: Here, you can provide an in-depth description of the processing activity.

    • Purpose of Processing: Describe the specific purpose behind the data processing.

    • Category of Personal Data: Define the categories of data being processed.

    • Category of Data Subject: Specify the types of data subjects, i.e., the individuals whose personal information is processed, and identify what data from which data subject is processed.

    • Category of the Recipients: Identify who the data recipients are and specify which data they should receive.

    • Time Limits for Erasure: Define when which data should be erased.

Switch to Edit Mode: To edit the ROPAs, simply switch to edit mode, and you can make the necessary updates.

Export Options: You can also conveniently export the ROPAs as Word or PDF documents for your records.
